Honoring a Legacy of Literacy
Devine Education Foundation Partners to Gift Books to Every Elementary Student
The Devine Education Foundation recently recognized the incredible work of Bettye Geurin-Burns (CEO) and Helen Donegan (Founder), the visionaries behind the Donegan-Burns Foundation, for their lifelong dedication to fostering literacy.
In a community-focused effort to honor their memories and continue their mission, the foundation provided every student from Pre-K3 through 5th grade with a brand-new book of their very own to keep.
By sharing these stories, we hope to honor their legacy and help instill a generous heart in our students. Our ultimate wish is that these books inspire children to discover the joy of reading, while learning the power of sharing that love with others.
